I FEEL THE RHYTHM
I feel the rhythm of the Spirit
I feel the rhythm of His Power
And it’s changing me
And it’s healing me
Oh I feel the rhythm of His Glo-ry
Change my life
Take away my strife
So I can bring more honor to your name
Lead me in your grace
I’m trusting in your pace
So I will never have to strive again
THE COFFEE - THE POUR OVER
I love the pour over.
It is intimate.
It is pure.
It is gentle.
Preparing the pour over is like a dance or courting your coffee. This makes sense for one who knows the intimacy of Christ, the one who never leaves nor forsakes.
The pour over produces a delicate brew, passing through paper and following a process of stopping, slowing down and thinking while pouring off-the-boil water over coarsely ground beans.
Multiple blooms are created as the coffee fills up with water, drips down through the paper into the cup, repeating the process until all the water is used.
The pour over is unhurried and the resulting beverage is gentle, clean and light. Jesus invites us into the unhurried rhythm of rest.
Walk with me and work with me –
watch how I do it.
Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.
I won't lay anything heavy or ill–fitting on you.
